This 14" tall peppermill is one you will be proud of. The materials it was made of, flame red birch and red gum came from logs which lay on the bottom of Lake Superior since the early 1800's when they were harvested. These logs, which sank to the bottom, while being floated down to the sawmills are now being raised by divers, dried and cut into lumber. The company behind this is "Timeless Timbers" of Ashland, Wi.
