This is a 10" tall peppermill constructed of black walnut, yellowheart, mahoghany, and ambrosia maple. It is one-of-akind, as are all my mills and will not be duplicated. The mechanism is of stainless steel and is adjustable for coarseness of grind. Ambrosia maple is caused by the ambrosia beetle, which bores holes in a standard maple tree, allowing water to run in, resulting in discoloration and grey or black streaks.
